The Institute for Research in the Fundaments of Law – lucernaiuris is dedicated to advancing pioneering academic work in the foundational legal subjects (legal history, legal philosophy, legal theory and legal sociology). In particular, it seeks to promote the development of inter- and transdisciplinary approaches to the study of law, which enrich legal discourse by opening new and innovative avenues of inquiry.
