The Chairs of Prof. Dr. Regina Kiener, Prof. Dr. Matthias Mahlmann and Prof. Dr. Daniel Moeckli at the Faculty of Law of the University of Zurich offer
The new University Research Priority Program (URPP) Equality of Opportunity aims to research the economic and social changes that lead to inequality. As part of this URPP, the subproject directed by our three Chairs will study the normative foundations which provide the basis of, and set the goals for, public policies that seek to increase equality. The objective of the subproject is to restate the normative principles and fundamental legal concepts underlying current equality guarantees as foundational elements of a just society.
